In 2025, thanks to your support, we helped 122,000 cats and kittens - that's 335 a day. We microchipped 24,000 cats and reunited 1,100 cats with their owners. Cats Protection Lifeline helped 340 cat owners flee domestic abuse by providing 620 cats with temporary foster homes.

Bluebell's story

Found alone and distressed, seven-month-old Bluebell was brought to our North West London Cat Centre with no microchip and no owner. Volunteers named her for her striking blue eyes and quickly fell for her gentle, affectionate nature. Not long after, the centre became the set for a summer campaign film shoot, where cameraman Daniel Humphreys spotted her. The connection was instant. One meeting (and one photo sent to his wife Amy) was all it took for them to realise Bluebell belonged with them.

After the shoot, Daniel, Amy and their son Ted made it official. Now living happily with their older cat Mowgli, Bluebell is playful, full of energy and never far from their side. Sometimes the right cat finds you when you least expect it!
